Consumer withdrawal and returns

Information for private customers – updated 10 October 2026.

If you are a consumer buying our standard goods at a distance, you generally have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw without giving a reason. The period normally starts when you or a designated person other than the carrier receives the goods. For separately delivered items within one order, it generally starts on receipt of the last item.

To withdraw, send a clear statement to Brechel Electronic – Industrial Interface Systems (BE-IIS), Philipp Brechel, Hindenburgstraße 100/1, 73207 Plochingen, Germany, email order@be-iis.eu, or use the online form below. A reason is not required. Sending the declaration before the deadline is sufficient.

Effects of withdrawal

We will reimburse payments received, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery method where required by law, generally within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may wait until we receive the returned goods or proof of their return, whichever is earlier. We normally use the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.

Please return the goods to the address above within 14 days of notifying us. For domestic German returns under statutory withdrawal, BE-IIS voluntarily covers the cost of our designated standard return-label service; please contact us for a label. For other destinations, you bear direct return shipment costs where legally permitted and unless otherwise agreed.

You are responsible for diminished value only where caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Normal inspection is allowed.

Additional 30-day voluntary returns

Beyond your statutory rights, we offer private customers a voluntary return period of 30 days after receipt for standard stock products and accessories. Notify us within 30 days and return the items within 14 days of your notice. Ordinary inspection is permitted; substantially modified or damaged items are excluded from this voluntary extension. After the statutory period, we normally reimburse the item price and the standard outbound shipping amount, while you bear return shipping unless we agree otherwise.

This voluntary policy does not limit your statutory withdrawal, conformity or warranty rights. Custom-made goods may be subject to statutory exceptions and are not automatically covered by the additional voluntary policy.

Withdraw online

Provide your name, order reference and email address. You may withdraw the entire order or specify selected items.

We will email you an acknowledgment containing the declaration and its receipt time. You may also withdraw directly by email.
