BE-IIS HAT++

Isolated 10BASE-T1L Industrial Ethernet HAT++ Switch for Raspberry Pi

Production

10BASE-T1L (IEEE 802.3cg) enables 10 Mbit/s Ethernet communication over a single twisted pair for long-reach point-to-point links.

This HAT enables 10BASE-T1L communication based on the Analog Devices ADIN2111 dual Ethernet MAC-PHY and, as part of the BE-IIS HAT++ ecosystem, is stackable with other HATs from the portfolio for seamless system expansion and simplified system integration.

Product Description

The 10BASE-T1L Industrial Ethernet HAT is a Raspberry Pi HAT+ compliant Single Pair Ethernet interface board designed in accordance with IEEE 802.3cg.

It integrates two ADIN2111 10BASE-T1L Ethernet switch MAC-PHY controllers, providing four 10BASE-T1L field ports. Each ADIN2111 includes an integrated two-port switch fabric, enabling hardware forwarding within its respective port pair without involving the Raspberry Pi.

The MDI field interfaces are galvanically isolated from the Raspberry Pi logic side, making the board suitable for robust industrial Ethernet installations.
